Sadly 3.0 doesn't allow apps such as DiddyDJ to actually get at the data from the iTunes library, apps are only able to select tracks from the library and stop/start/pause them etc. I recently went to WWDC and spoke to the engineers about it, to check I was correct.</p> <p>I and many others have submitted enhancement requests but I think there may be an issue with licensing preventing this from happening. It also fixes the IP discovery bug that others had reported.
