I'm re-opening the forums and will be moving the site over to a new system to try and block the problems with the Spammers.

The next version of DiddyDJ is well under way now. I'm working on the suggestions and some obvious features. Hopefully it won't be too long before the next released.

I have used diddy dj lite and have to say that the sound and latency is real good. Here are a few of my suggestions for future updates:

- Improved cuing i.e the ability to save your cuing point
- Disable power off feature while track is running
- Finer control of pitch - I find it really difficult to make minute adjustments despite these seeming to be available and more accurate than other players.

Also, why does there have to be a volume slider on the deck. Surely you have one of these on the mixer and I notice you have a master volume control anyway.

Some people have been having problems with v1.01 stalling on loading. I think I have fixed this, and will be sending up a release Monday. It seems to occur on 16gig models.

There is another issue with networking that appears to hang the file transfer page on some peoples phones too, I am looking at this and will take that piece of code out. Ironically this particular line of code is copied from apple's example code.

Since aif and wav files don't carry bpm metadata, you can also upload a text file containing a list of track names with the bpm's against them. The display for a track will then show the bpm of the track.

The text file must be called diddydj.info

example file at http://diddydj.com/loops/diddydj.info

The further your finger is away from the pitch slider, the less sensitive it is. Good for tiny changes.
